Neighborhood Spotlight: Palma Ceia

The Tampa Bay area has quickly become one of the more popular places to live in Florida, and for good reason. Many of its neighborhoods have a friendly, community-like atmosphere where residents can live in relative peace and quiet while still taking advantage of the urban amenities Tampa offers. One such neighborhood, Palma Ceia, has become particularly sought after over the last few years. Not only is it close to other popular Tampa neighborhoods, such as Bayshore Beautiful, Hyde Park, and SoHo, it also boasts a number of amenities, from the Palma Ceia Design District to the fabulous Palma Ceia Country Club. The scenic beauty of nearby Hillsborough Bay adds to the value of homes in Palma Ceia, as do the charming European-style bricked streets that the community has become known for.

Dining

Owners of Palma Ceia real estate have a large variety of options to choose from when it comes to going out to eat or  shopping, whether they stick around Palma Ceia or decide to drive to one of the neighboring communities. If they stay close to home, residents will be able to try out any number of fantastic locally owned restaurants, including Wright's Gourmet HouseDatzBarrow's Gourmet DeliPinky's,  Byblos Café and more.

If you have a sweet tooth, be sure to stop by Dough, the confectionery sister restaurant to Datz which features doughnut ice cream cones! It doesn't matter what residents are in the mood for, whether it's traditional American food, Greek food, Ethiopian food, Italian food, or anything else, odds are they'll find it within a short distance of their homes.

In nearby SoHo, enjoy brunch at Daily Eats and indulge on a specialty milkshake, drive minutes to the world-famous Bern’s Steakhouse, or make it a casual evening at The Lodge Restaurant & Bar for a hearty meal and some live music. You can never go wrong with these classics, but new spots are emerging every day in this bustling community. Take, for example, Ava, a rustic, Italian dining experience co-owned by a former Tampa Bay Ray’s manger, or Elevage at The Epicurian Hotel, a sister restaurant of Bern’s.
