South Tampa Real Estate Market Report | 8/3/25 - 8/9/25

According to Fannie Mae's Home Purchase Sentiment Index ("HPSI"), homebuyer optimism increased in four important categories in July: job loss concern, home price outlook, mortgage rate outlook and change in household income. Selling conditions are still more favorable than buying conditions due to affordability and interest rate concerns, but the overall trend is a bit more encouraging for the housing market than what you may get from reading headlines.
