The South Tampa housing market started 2019 in strong fashion. The January '19 averages across all price points were $491,830 (average sale price); $243.95 (average sale price per square foot); and 54 (average days on market).

Compared to January '18, average sale price decreased 0.00125%, average sale price per square foot increased 5.68%, and average days on market increased by 3.85%. The Tampa Bay real estate market as a whole recently earned praise from the Urban Land Institute as a top 10 market for real estate investors.
